Ashley Moser is the co-anchor for KITV's weekend morning show and general assignment reporter during the weekdays.
Ashley was born and raised on Oahu and is a graduate of Punahou School. She earned her bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Brigham Young University in Utah.
She joins us from the NBC affiliate in Toledo, Ohio. While there, she served as a general assignment reporter and co-anchor for the station's morning show. Ashley covered breaking news stories, including a car chase that crossed state lines into Michigan, a fatal house explosion, a high school standoff, and most recently, she did an investigative piece on "Online Sex Trafficking” in Northwest Ohio.
Ashley also served as an anchor, reporter and producer for KBYU Eleven News, Utah's daily newscast which airs on PBS. While an anchor for Eleven News, she won the Society of Professional Journalists' 2012 national award for “Best All-Around Television Newscast.”
She hosted BYU Weekly, a nationally televised show on BYUtv. In 2012, she interned for New York One, Time Warner's 24-hour cable news channel for New York City's five boroughs.
Ashley is happy to be home, reporting on stories that mean the most to the people of Hawaii. She is proud of her Filipino heritage and enjoys cooking family dishes with her mother.
