The Kapolei Titans Pop Warner Football Association Pee Wee Division II Team is the first Oahu Pop Warner District Federation, Inc. team to ever make it to the Pop Warner Super Bowl Championship Game at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.
The only other Hawaii team to make it to the "big game" was the Lihue Patriots in 2005, where the team won the Division II Pee Wee National Championship.
The "underdog" Titans at the end of the regular Oahu Pop Warner Season was in the third place position before overcoming the Palama Scorpions in the semifinals and the Manoa Paniolo in the finals to gain the Oahu Championship.
The team then traveled to the Kona to play the Puna Panthers to win the State Championship and capture the berth to the Pop Warner Super Bowl Championships.
The Titans defeated the College Station Raiders of Texas in the Pee Wee Division II Semifinals by a score of 38 to 14 to make it to the National Super Bowl Championship Game against the Jensen Beach Falcons of Florida on Friday, December 9, 2011.
On Saturday, December 2, 2011, the Titans defeated the Mount Hope Cowboys from Rhode Island in the Pee Wee Division II Quarterfinals by a score of 16 to 0 to get to the semifinal game.
The game will be televised live on ESPN 3 on December 9 at 5:30 am Hawaii Standard Time.
