Police said Stiner ran behind the altar and then shouted, "Hey tourists, get off my beach. I'm local." Police said he tossed full beer cans, hitting several people, including the best man, and yelled obscenities at the wedding party.

Members of the wedding party chased after him. When police caught up with Stiner, he said he had the right to be on the beach as a "taxpaying citizen."

A police report stated Stiner was so intoxicated he had trouble standing without swaying.

He faces a misdemeanor battery charge.
