Part of the Farrington High School auditorium roof collapsed Friday afternoon during a thunderstorm.
Just before 2 p.m., a severe thunderstorm warning was posted. Forecasters said damaging winds in excess of 60 mph could be possible.
A flood advisory was posted for Oahu until 5 p.m.
Witnesses at the auditorium say one person was inside when the roof came down.
That person escaped unharmed.
The cause of the collapse is under investigation.
In addition to Farrington High School using the auditorium, New Hope Christian Fellowship Oahu also uses the facility.
