Late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain's childhood home in Aberdeen, Wash., is up for sale.
The home is listed as a four-bedroom one-bath bungalow near the intersection of Chicago Avenue and East 1st Street.
Cobain's parents bought it in 1969, when Kurt was 2.
The home, complete with writing on the wall in Cobain's old room, is being sold by real estate firm The Agency.
According to the company's website, the Godfather of Grunge lived in the home until he was 9, and then again from when he was 16 until about 20.
The residence is still largely persevered and features many of Cobain's belongings, including the rock legend's childhood mattress, the rug in his room, etchings he carved into the walls and more.
"The home is an amazing look into Kurt's past," the real estate agency said. "Everything is still more or less preserved and captures his early years that led to his legendary career."
But this house that grunge built won't come cheap.
Last appraised at around $60,000 face-value, the artifact carries a $500,000 price tag.
Despite the hefty price tag and amount of work that needs doing, the home does come with an upside.
It has turned into a destination landmark and could easily be converted into either a museum or a vacation rental.
"Homes like Kurt Cobain's can also be used as vacation rentals, such as the last home Jim Morrison owned in Hollywood," the website read.
The home was last lived in by a family friend four years ago.
Cobain has described his early childhood in Aberdeen as happy.
According to the Cobain biography, "Heavier Than Heaven," young Kurt would ride his bike around the small yard and pound on a set of Mickey Mouse drums his parents bought him.
Addicted to heroin, Cobain committed suicide at age 27 in Seattle in 1994. This month marks the 20th anniversary of Nirvana's final album, "In Utero."
