The fourth season of the English series Downton Abbey will air on PBS Hawaii on Sunday, Jan. 5 at 8 p.m. and a Kailua eatery is holding an event to celebrate.

A Cup of Tea is planning a Royal Affair for their guests, similar to their Royal Wedding event in 2011.

"Rather than preview the new fourth season series first episode, for which I have a DVD disc sent to me from England, we will be showing a special 60-minute video of Highclere Castle, the real English Castle that inspired Downton Abbey and where the series is filmed," said A Cup of Tea owner Darlene Pahed.

The 60-minute video will introduce Earl George Herbert, the eighth Earl of Carnarvon, and his family who are the current residents of the castle.

The Downton Abbey event at A Cup of Tea will be held on Jan. 4, with the first seating at 1 p.m. and the second seating at 6 p.m.  Reservations are required.

Call 230-8832 or visit the A Cup of Tea website for more information.
