Punahou Carnival runs this weekend

Ashley Moser went to Punahou to get a preview of this year's carnival.

HONOLULU -

The 2014 Punahou Carnival takes place at Punahou School on Friday, Feb. 7 and Saturday, Feb. 8.

It runs both days from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The theme this year is "New York, New York:  The Carnival That Never Sleeps."

The carnival draws thousands of people each year.  The proceeds from the carnival supports Punahou students to benefit from financial aid.

The carnival features about 60 different booths with food, games, rides and other fun for people of all ages.  Carnival favorites include the senior class variety show, the malasada and mango chutney booths and the popular white elephant sale.
