"The Bachelorette" Week 2 Preview
All I can say is my life is fully complete now that "The Bachelorette" Mondays are back (OK, yes maybe I need to get a life haha)! Des has her first one-on-one dates of the season and her first group date as well. I can’t wait to see who she has a spark with and how the men handle competing for Des’s attention and more importantly her love.
Des asks Brooks for the first one-on-one date (I am excited about this one, I find Brooks extremely mysterious and I am dying to know what he is like. I also find him very handsome in a non-traditional way BUT like Ben, I wish he would cut his hair)! Des takes Brooks to try on tuxedos while she tries on extravagant wedding gowns (a very intense first date if you ask me). The couple enjoys the rest of their date in their “wedding attire” indulging in cupcakes, a romantic dinner and Andy Gammar performs live for the gorgeous couple. Will Des like Brooks enough to give him the rose or will she be sending this mysterious bachelor home?
The group dates are always my favorite because the guys try so hard to stand out. You get to see the “real” side of the men on these kinds of dates! Also, I love how competitive they can get. Soluja Boy makes a guest appearance on the group date as the 14 men play a part in his new rap video (and Des too of course, she even raps?! Can’t wait to see this)! The after party is where the real drama starts, as the men start to confront one another (specifically Ben and Mikey). Also, the guys really start to open us to Des (Brandon has a heart to heart with Des about his childhood). Who will get the group date rose? Or will Des even hand out a rose?
Des decides to have her last one on one date of the week with Bryden (PS what is up with his haircut, I know I am focusing a lot on the guy’s hair this season but it is a BIG deal). Des and Bryden go on a romantic road trip up the California Coast. The date ends with a kiss in a hot tub (shocker) but is there more than just the physical attraction between the two? Will Des keep Bryden around?
The men continue to compete for alone time with Des at the cocktail party. The cocktail party heightens as two bachelors start to argue and as one of the bachelors talks about his past.
Des faces her hardest decision of the season and will have to send three guys home. Who will the remaining 16 bachelors be?
