Burglar sleeping in bed, wearing clothes

An Ohio man called police after finding a burglary suspect sleeping in his bed and wearing his clothes, with his shotgun lying beside him.

Cory Fulst told Cleveland TV station WJW he didn't realize anything was amiss when he got home from work Monday.

The front door was locked, and nothing had been rifled through.

But when he walked into his bedroom, Fulst told police he found a man sleeping in his bed and wearing his clothes.

Fulst said his shot gun had been loaded and was lying next to the man in bed.

Police identified the intruder as Dustin Applegate, 31, who gave authorities an address in Ravenna but lived most of his life in Colorado.

Fulst was quick enough to grab the shotgun away from Applegate, who woke up when Fulst entered the room.

"Get down, dude. Sit down right there," Fulst is heard telling Applegate in a 911 call.

Applegate has been charged with aggravated burglary.
