Bail was increased Monday for a former employee of the Portsmouth School Department accused of sexually soliciting a girl.

Kenneth Kimber faces eight charges, including indecent exposure and using a computer to commit a crime.

In court Monday, a judge increased his bail to $10,000 cash.

In addition to his IT job for Portsmouth schools, Kimber was also the boys basketball coach at Noble High School in Berwick, Maine. He is no longer employed in either district.

He is scheduled to return to court next week.
