Rioseco was initially clocked at 87 mph, but a deputy followed and called for backup and eventually caught the suspect driving 127 mph, the release said.

When he was pulled over, Rioseco "smelled of alcohol, and his behavior was extremely erratic," according to the release.

Rioseco was arrested on charges of reckless driving, three counts of driving under the influence with someone under the age of 18 in the car, refusing to submit to a DUI test and three counts of cruelty toward a child, the release said.

The kids were turned over to their mother.

A quick glance at the Monroe County Sheriff's Office website indicates Saturday's arrest was Rioseco's ninth there since 2007.
