Steffani Lariscy spent money that she stole from her boss on furniture, her divorce and even breast implants, deputies said.

A former accountant is accused of stealing almost $170,000 from her boss and spending it on furniture, her divorce and even breast implants, WPBF 25 News has learned.

Steffani Lariscy was arrested Thursday and was being held on $100,000 bond, according to a news release issued by the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.

Lariscy's boss last year noticed about $10,000 was missing from Robbins Camper Sales in Ormond Beach. When he confronted Lariscy, she denied knowing anything about the discrepancy, but promised to look into the matter further, the release said.

Later, when he noticed a receipt torn out of the company's financial ledger, he confronted Lariscy again and she admitted to having stolen the money to help pay for her divorce, "and that she was planning to pay it back," according to the release.

But the woman left town, and investigators eventually learned that the thefts actually totaled more than $169,000.

A tipster told investigators that Lariscy was bragging about a lot of unexplained cash she suddenly had at her house, adding that the suspect spent some of the money on new furniture and $7,000 on breast implants.

Lariscy was arrested Thursday in North Carolina about a year after the investigation began.
