Police are looking for a woman who robbed a grocery store of an undislosed amount of cash, but she left behind a most unusual clue.

Fort Myers police said the woman entered a Publix grocery store Wednesday morning, approached the customer service desk and acted as if she was going to buy a candy bar.

Instead, she handed the clerk a note demanding money and implying she had a weapon.

At one point, the woman covered her mouth and said aloud, "I forgot to put my teeth in today," according to the Fort Myers police website.

The suspect was described as being white and middle-aged, and it's assumed she wears dentures. She left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash in a silver sedan.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Crimestoppers.
