LONG BEACH, Calif. -

Need a distraction from boredom at work this week? Two penguin chicks were born in Long Beach, Calif., at The Aquarium of the Pacific in June, and you can see just how cute they are thanks to a live penguin camera.

The Magellanic penguin chicks are being raised separately from their parents because they were abandoned as eggs.

Magellanic penguins are native to Argentina and Chile. Chicks open their eyes within a week of hatching, and after 90 days, they replace their soft, downy newborn feathers with water-tight adult feathers.
