The assignment for the critical writing course was for students to write their impressions of others.

So Corlett wrote a 33-page journal about his professor called "Hot for Teacher."

"(It says) specifically in the syllabus that we are to record our first impressions of people in our day book assignment, which is exactly what I did," Corlett told WTSP in Tampa. "I recorded my first impressions of her."

In Corlett's sometime profane comments, he writes about the professor's body and compares her to Ginger from the 1960s television show "Gilligan's Island."

The professor complained to the dean of the university, and Corlett was suspended for an entire academic year.

In the lawsuit against the university, Corlett claims mental anguish and a violation of his constitutional rights.
