A man convicted of killing two women and leaving a third woman for dead is once again scheduled for execution.

Gov. Rick Scott on Friday rescinded a temporary stay for Marshall Lee Gore, 49, who is scheduled to die by lethal injection on June 24.

Scott order the stay last week after Gore's attorneys claimed he was insane.

The Governor's Office reported that a three-doctor commission determined Gore was mentally competent and could be executed.

Gore killed Susan Roark and Robyn Novick and attempted to kill Tina Coralis in early 1988. Roark's body was found in Columbia County, and Novick's body was discovered in Miami-Dade County.

Two days after killing Novick, Gore attacked Coralis and left her for dead near the scene where Novick's body was found earlier.
