A superfan of the 1980s TV show "Knight Rider" has spent three years building an exact replica of the talking car named KITT.
Detroit native Chris Palmer recreated the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am by bidding on parts he found on eBay, according to Digital Spy.
He took screenshots from the show to find out what he would need.
The car comes equipped with a dashboard featuring the same video screens as those requested by David Hasselhoff's character, Michael Knight, and the car's trademark front bumper.
KITT's Michigan vanity license plate reads KNI6HT.
"It was totally worth it. More than worth it," Palmer said in a YouTube video of his creation. "I love this car. Everybody seems to love this car."
