2 arrested in overnight stabbing at McKinley High

HONOLULU -

Honolulu police say two suspects were in custody after a stabbing at McKinley High School early Tuesday.

Investigators were called to the school at around 2:30 a.m.

A 43-year-old man was hospitalized in critical condition with multiple stab wounds, according to a police report.

Police say a 20-year-old man with no local address and a 21-year-old Honolulu man were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in the second degree.

Investigators say the suspects and the victim were involved in a physical confrontation.  The victim had multiple stab wounds, according to Emergency Medical Services officials.

Police were investigating near the school's administration building.

No word yet on the relationship between the suspects and the victim.

School is currently not in session at McKinley High School.
