Twelve F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets arrived at Marine Corps Base Hawaii at Kaneohe Bay on Friday.
The jets will be temporarily housed at Marine Corps Base Hawaii to conduct training exercises on the Big Island.
Even though these planes will be carrying live rounds, the military assures Hawaii residents they will be safe.
