Leaders of the state's oldest church are outlining plans for $3 million in repairs to ensure the church endures as a landmark.
The church announced a new fundraising campaign Tuesday.

West Hawaii Today reports the building's roof must be raised, its walls reinforced with steel and its interior and exterior cracks filled.
Rot- and termite-damaged cross-beams must be replaced.
The 2006 earthquake caused some of the problems.
