Three people were injured when a car drove through the glass wall at the U.S. Post Office on Hawaii Kai Drive Tuesday morning, according to police.
Paramedics were called to the scene at around 11 a.m.
Police say the driver of the car was a 78-year-old woman. The two other people injured were a 23-year-old woman and a 15-year-old girl, who both suffered cuts and scratches. All three people were taken to the hospital in stable condition, according to police.
Investigators say the driver was trying to reverse her vehicle, but had mistakenly left it in drive. Mailboxes, counters and windows were damaged at the post office.
