Five gaming machines were seized Tuesday by Hawaii special agents at a business called Pure Luck on Waialae Avenue.

HONOLULU -

Five gaming machines were seized Tuesday by special agents at a business called Pure Luck on Waialae Avenue, according to the state attorney general.

The search warrant authorized the seizure of illegal gambling machines and related records.

The seizure of illegal gambling machines is part of a continuing joint law enforcement operation among State of Hawaii Department of the Attorney General, Honolulu Department of the Prosecuting Attorney and other law enforcement agencies.

Attorney General Louie stated, "My office fully supports local law enforcement efforts to rid this State of enterprises that profit from illegal gambling in the State of Hawaii. I commend Honolulu Prosecutor Keith Kaneshiro for his dedication and commitment to remove illegal gambling devices from Honolulu and to disrupt and take down these illegal criminal enterprises."

All items seized will be turned over to the Kaneshiro for his office's use in the prosecution of the illegal gambling activities.
