Maui fire officials say four adults and four children were left homeless Thursday night after a structure fire.
Firefighters were called just after 6 p.m. to West Vineyard Boulevard.
Fire officials say the flames were extinguished before firefighter got to the scene.
The American Red Cross were called to provide assistance to the family.
The fire inspector said the cause was an accidental cooking fire.
Damage was estimated at $6,800. No one was injured.
