University of Hawaii head football coach Norm Chow says he wants to move forward from all the negative publicity over the last few months.  On Wednesday night, former UH football player Colt Brennan was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence.  In the last few months, three other UH football players have been arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Chow told a crowd at a public forum in Pearl City Thursday night, it will stop.

“That’s what’s so disappointing about the events that have gone, but it’s going to stop I can promise you that. It has to stop!” said Chow.

In addition, to the recent arrests, the UH athletic department lost $200,000 in a Stevie Wonder concert scam. In the aftermath of the scam, the athletic director was placed on paid administrative leave.   “I cannot comment on the investigation of the Stevie Wonder incident,” said acting athletic director Rockne Freitas. “I was not involved with the last incident of DUI.”

Chow and Freitas could not comment on the investigation or any details regarding the concert. Both are concerned and hope to repair UH's image in the public eye.
