YORK, Pa. -

It wasn't quite the scene you would expect at a fast food restaurant Saturday as a funeral procession went through the drive-through at a Burger King near Route 30 in York.

After the ceremony for 88-year-old David Kime Jr., family and friends celebrated his life the best way they knew how: at his favorite restaurant.

"We were all psyched up; everybody was all ready for it. I think it's great that we have somebody that devoted that it's their last and final thing that they are going to do," said Margaret Hess, Burger King Manager.

The procession headed to the cemetery, and Kime's daughter, Linda Phiel placed a Whopper Jr. on his grave.

Kime Jr. was an Army veteran and was a recipient of a Purple Heart.
