Hawaii weather forecast to get cooler.

HONOLULU -

A chill in the air on Friday night didn't stop the Mililani Warriors Pony League baseball team from warming up for their next big game.

Because of its elevation, Mililani is typically five to 10 degrees cooler than Honolulu.

The team's head coach, Darrell Ferreira, said, "It hasn't been this cold in a while, makes you want to stay in bed in the morning, that's for sure."

Or bundle up in the evening.

"Main thing is I make sure that they always have their jackets so they don't catch cold after cause we finish kind of late," Ferreira added.

Kristen Mock forgot her jacket and left Mililani District Park right after sunset because of the chill.
Mock said, "Normally I keep it in my tennis bag, but I don't know. I just didn't pack it I guess and it's freezing."

Others, didn't think so.

A shirtless bicycle rider said, "I spent a month in Wisconsin, where it's negative five outside. So it's not that bad in comparison. Plus I'm riding bike, so it keeps me warm."

"I like playing tennis in weather like this because it's cold, so when I play tennis I always feel warmed up and I feel ready to hit the ball," said Preston Ku.

When told that it could get colder in the days ahead and asked if that would prevent him from playing more tennis, Ku responded with, "no it's not, because I like playing tennis no matter what."
