Hawaiian Airlines Vegas flight diverted to Oakland
A Hawaiian Airlines flight from Honolulu to Las Vegas Friday was diverted to Oakland International Airport for an emergency landing, according to airport officials.
Flight 6 left Honolulu International Airport at around 7:50 a.m. and landed safely in Oakland at around 1:30 p.m. Hawaii time.
A Hawaiian Airlines spokesman confirmed that the plane was diverted for medical reasons.
Paramedics at Oakland International Airport checked out a man and found no medical condition.
As of 3:15 p.m. Hawaii time, passengers were boarding a plane to Las Vegas.
