Kimono dresser gives demonstration in studio for Schichi-go-san Festival

Shichi-go-san is a Japanese festival celebrated to mark the growth of children as they turn three, five and seven years of age. Part of the celebration is to dress in traditional kimono for the blessing. Jean Sakihara is here this morning to show us the art of kimono dressing. Sakihara sensei teaches the only kimono culture class across all of the nation's high schools.
