“When life gives you lemons, make lemonade,” a proverb says. So when a wicked winter weather dumped buckets of rain in California over the weekend, a man seized the chance to wakeboard down the drenched street.
The Ulocal user submitted a video of an extreme sports enthusiast riding his wakeboard over the flood waters in his neighborhood. The man in a black wetsuit held tight to a rope as he was being towed by a white SUV along a swamped street in Lodi City.
“Neighbors wakeboarding in front of my house,” wrote Ulocal uploader belowpar.
Torrential downpours left 15 to 20 inches of rain in several areas of the state that triggered flashfloods, toppled trees, and caused power outages.
