Condolence books will also be available at the senator's public memorial service planned for Friday at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall. Public visitation will begin at 4 p.m. with the service to follow at 5 p.m.
The private roadway between the convention hall and the public parking lot will be dedicated as a VIP parking area and a drop-off location for those with disabilities. The convention hall parking lot will remain open to the public.
In lieu of flowers, the family of late Sen Inouye is requesting that donations be made to the Daniel K. Inouye Memorial Fund in care of the Hawaii Community Foundation. The fund has been created to help organizations and causes that Sen. Inouye supported.
