A man accused of the deadly stabbing of a 24-year-old man at Mayor Wright Homes back in September 2011 has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, according to the city prosecutor.

Takson Krstoth is scheduled to be sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole on July 23.

On Sept. 10, 2011, TJ "Tipuk" Mori was stabbed in the back after an argument with Krstoth.

The Hawaii Paroling Authority will determine the minimum time Krstoth must serve before becoming eligible for parole.  As part of the plea deal, the state will recommend a 15-year minimum sentence.
