A memorial service for Schofield Barracks soldier 2nd Lt. Clovis Tim Ray will be held this Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Live Oak County Coliseum in Three Rivers, Texas, according to a press release from the U.S. Army.
Ray's wife and his 5-year-old son will travel from Hawaii to attend the service along with his parents and siblings.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been finalized.
Ray, 34, died in Afghanistan on March 15 after being injured by an improvised explosive device during an attack.
Ray received numerous medals, including the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart.
