According to a news release from NOPD, Croom’s mother got a phone call from her son on Monday about 10 p.m. that he and his girlfriend had arrived in Louisiana safely and were going to Bourbon Street.

Croom’s mother told police her son said he would return to Arkansas on Wednesday, because he and Polk had to go to work the next day.

Croom and Polk have not been heard from nor seen since.
