Police searching for missing Kona girl

KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii -

Big Island police are searching for a 17-year-old Kona girl who was reported missing.

Aisha Freitas was last seen at Konawaena High School on Tuesday.  She is described as 5-feet-3-inches-tall to 5-feet-5-inches-tall, 110 pounds with brown eyes, black wavy hair and a fair complexion.  She may be in the Kona area.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Officer Clive Okino at 326-4646, ext. 276..

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
