Ocean Safety officials say a woman from South Korea was found unresponsive in waters at Hanauma Bay Wednesday.

The woman was found at around 1:50 p.m. about 15-to-20-yards from shore.

Officials say she had been snorkeling and a relative brought her to shore and alerted lifeguards.

Lifeguards commenced with CPR until paramedics arrived.

She was transported in critical condition and police say the 72-year-old woman later died.

According to authorities, the woman's death might have been due to cardiac arrest.
