Dozens of Hawaii fans are still here gathered around the TV screens at this viewing party in Kalihi.

HONOLULU -

As New Orleans hosts the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers, a lot of folks on the islands were hosting watch parties.

There's a spread of great food, some entertainment, family, and friends, but a big viewing party in Kalihi has their eyes glued on the game.

"Everyone is all friends so it never gets like that where they are going crazy at each other, but it's more fun everyone's joking," said party host Todd Matsumoto.

"Majority here are 49ers fans you have a few Ravens fans. I'm with the minority," said Ravens fan Roland Salvador.

Everyone thinks they know which strategy is going to get their team the superbowl win.

"Their offense they got too many weapons for the Baltimore defense," said 49ers fan Natu Taualii.

"It's all motivation, motivation, and I guess everyone depending on them," said Ravens fan Lawrence Tulba.

Both sides agree on one thing, with locals players on both teams, and close ties, Natu Taualii has a cousin he's rooting for on the 49ers. It's not just a battle but also a celebration..

"I think it makes it more interesting we get to see local boys play in the highlight of the season it's good it's kind of a show for Hawaii," said Vance Lime.

So through the ups and downs of the game in the end it seems like a touchdown for all fans in Hawaii.
