The only thing higher than Melody Green's 7th grade imagination, is her 7th grade science project.

Melody wanted to test "the effects of altitude on air pressure and temperature". So she secured her Hello Kitty to a space balloon that was equipped with cameras and flight gear that measures altitude.

They launched this balloon and watched from home as the balloon climbed 3 miles, than through the stratosphere and over 25,000 kilometers into space where temperatures reached -22degrees Fahrenheit.

The results of the experiment proved her hypothesis to be successful and led to amazing footage capturing the balloons rise and inevitable dissent.
