Witnesses wanted in Kalihi attempted murder

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s
assistance in locating the suspect or suspects and witnesses in an attempted murder case in Kalihi.

Last Sunday at approximately 4:52 a.m., fronting 1617 Dillingham Boulevard, at the bus stop near Bank of Hawaii, officers responded to the area on a report of a man needing assistance.

Upon their arrival they observed an unresponsive man lying in the road.  He was identified as 60-year-old Carl Realista.

He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.  Detectives believe that there were numerous people at the bus stop and are asking for any information regarding this incident.
