Beach boy CJ Jenkins said he was across Kapiolani Park when he heard a girl screaming for help just before midnight on Friday. Witnesses say the fight was a domestic dispute with a father of a woman in a white car who was stabbed by the woman's boyfriend.

"I looked and I saw the guy holding the guy from behind. The boyfriend of the girl launched forward and stabbed him, and lifted him up," said Jenkins.

The witness said after the man was stabbed multiple times, the two suspects started running away across the park. And then, the witness the man stabbed and the daughter started chasing after them.

When they got to the other side of the park, Jenkins says the man realized the extent of his injuries. He said the witness appeared to have two stab wounds in his back and one on his side.

"He had a shirt on but he could feel his intestines. It was all bloody. I told the daughter to take care of him," said Jenkins.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The Honolulu Police Department arrested 18-year-old Beau Bassett and 22-year-old Casey Bassett on suspicion of attempted murder. The two men have not been charged. They are in custody as police continue with the investigation.
