WAIPAHU, Hawaii -

Honolulu police say two lanes on the H-1 Freeway heading west before the Kunia off-ramp were closed due to a cement and gravel spill on the freeway Monday.

The announcement was made just before 12:30 p.m.

Police say the right lane and the second to the right lane were closed for the cleanup.

The Honolulu Traffic Management Center said the lanes were reopened at around 3:30 p.m. but the westbound lanes of the H-1 Freeway were moving slowly.
