The family of missing Carly "Charli" Scott is planning to hold a public memorial service for both Charli and her unborn son on Sunday.
Charli was five-months pregnant when she disappeared Feb. 9. Police later reclassified the case as a homicide.
The family says the event will be a celebration of life, taking place at Baldwin Beach in Pa'ia from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. They say if members of the community would like to write a letter, they can be brought into The Hui No'eau Visual Arts Center in Makawao by 4 p.m. on Thursday.
The family will be setting out a ceremonial canoe where they will scatter lei and flowers a sea.
