DCA: Commissaries set to open Monday

Stateside commissaries that closed due to the government shutdown will resume normal operations effective Monday, Oct. 7, according to the Defense Commissary Agency.
Stores normally closed on Mondays will reopen for business on their next scheduled operating day.
Last Wednesday, commissaries across the state closed due to the federal government shutdown.
There was a scramble for families to buy their groceries on Tuesday before the commissaries shut down.
The Hickam Air Force Base commissary and the Schofield Barracks commissary opened at 9 a.m. Monday.
