DOT alters H-1 repair schedule, delays still possible
The Department of Transportation has revised its H-1 roadwork repair schedule this week after a traffic mess Tuesday, but conditions could still be slow-going.
After long delays during the day on Monday and Tuesday, the DOT changed the west-bound roadwork to evening hours. Work between the Kaonohi Overpass to the Waipahu off-ramp will be conducted between 10 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. through Friday. This is for crews to conduct viaduct survey work.
Lane closures in the eastbound direction will continue on their daytime schedule. Repairs between the H1-H2 merge and the Pearlridge/Waimalu off-ramp will take place between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., then resume between 6 p.m. and 4:30 a.m., through Friday.
