A man accused of leading police on a high speed chase that caused a fatal car wreck has changed his plea to guilty.
30-year-old Steven Sandry was charged with negligent homicide for a 2012 crash that happened outside Schofield Barracks.
Police were trying to serve a drug warrant on Sandry's passenger Michael Daraban Jr. when Sandry took off. Daraban was killed on impact when the car split into two.
Sandry changed his plea on Jan. 14. His sentencing is set for Apr. 2.
