A soggy morning for Pearl City residents and a busy start for Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews after a service line break in Pearl City will require repairs lasting most of Monday.
The 1.5 inch service lateral break was reported around 1 a.m. Monday near the corner of Noelani and Ho'olaulea Streets.
Initially seven customers were without water service, with pressure to most of those homes being restored around 5:30 a.m.
BWS officials said Monday morning that one home is still without water.
Repairs to that water line will require the closure of the eastbound lane Noelani Street, for about a half block between Noelani Place and Ho'olaulea Street, for most of Monday.
