A former Halawa prison guard who pleaded guilty to multiple counts of conspiring to distribute meth at the Halawa Correctional Facility was sentenced Thursday.
Former Adult Corrections Officer James "Kimo" Sanders was sentenced to four years in prison followed by five years of supervised release.
