Former school secretary's probation extended after missed payments
A former Pearl Ridge Elementary School secretary who pleaded guilty to stealing tens of thousands from the school was sentenced again on Monday.
Denise Hayashi received an additional five years of probation and 600 hours of community service after breaking the rules of her initial probation.
She was ordered to pay more than $68,000 in restitution and $15,000 in fines and fees after she admitted to nearly 100 counts of forgery.
Hayashi missed a couple of payments which broke the rules of probation.
She has since paid off her debts.
