HONOLULU -

A local company is offering free skydive jumps to some workers affected by the government shutdown.

North Shore company Skydive Hawaii says on its Facebook page that it's offering free lift tickets to all USPA licensed sport skydivers.

The company said in a statement, "We will keep this up until you're working again or we no longer can bear the costs."

Those free lift tickets are being offered Monday through Friday.
