go! airlines will stop its Hawaii operations next month after nearly eight years of service.
The airline's parent company Mesa Air Group, Inc. stated on a company website Monday that Hawaii operations will end on Apr. 1. The airline attributed the operation change to the company's growth in Mainland flights, especially with United Airlines and U.S. Airways, and the increase in fuel costs.
go! says it will re-book passengers with travel scheduled between Apr. 1 and Jun. 30 on Hawaiian Airlines. Refunds will be provided to passengers whose flights cannot be re-booked or with flights scheduled after Jun. 30.
The airline says it will contact all ticket holders.
