There are plans for another high rise in the works. This one will be built in the McCully area, which is just outside of the Kaka'ako district.
Developer Franco Mola submitted an application with the state to build Ohana Hale. He is proposing to build a 21-story building at the corner of Pumehana and Algaroba streets.
The project calls for 180 units; a mix of market and affordable fee simple condominiums.
Mola is asking the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation to build higher than what is allowed in the area and to offer fewer parking spaces.
